Sustainability: the strength of Naturat cement
Naturat is a multi-purpose cement for routine new-build and renovation work. It is made from natural pozzolana (a type of volcanic rock) from the volcanoes of central France. Using these local resources reduces the product’s carbon footprint and satisfies environmental issues.
Our Naturat cement
Naturat is a multi-purpose cement chiefly used for routine work, in both new-build and renovation. Its high strength allows forms to be struck quickly, even in cold weather. Being made from pozzolana, a type of volcanic rock, Naturat CEM II/A-M (LL-P) 42.5 R CE NF cement is environmentally sustainable. Its composition and its manufacturing process meet the requirements of the future environmental regulations.
We have made it particularly easy to use by packing it in self-destructible bags. They are simply placed in the concrete mixer, unopened. Advantages: no waste, no dust, no loss!
Naturat originated here
It was in the Auvergne–Rhône-Alpes region of central France, at the Créchy cement plant, that Naturat cement was created. The pozzolans used were produced by the volcanoes of the Auvergne region, local sources of materials that reduce the carbon footprint of the manufacture of this cement.
The Créchy cement plant is an industrial facility that displays a firm commitment to its surroundings. A few months ago it was equipped with a gasifier that reduces the amount of fossil fuel used to manufacture its cement. This has made the plant unique in Europe.
Naturat cement is now available from approved outlets. It can also be ordered directly from all Vicat distributors in France.
